But still, like dust, I’ll rise.

We Won't Keep Quiet attempts to highlight the phenomenal voices of women of color in a world where they are often silenced.

Creating this podcast is both a heavy load and a joy. However, the same could be used to describe what its like to be a woman of color in America.

My hope for this podcast is to show the intelligence and beauty of women of color. Not as a comparison to put each other down, but to empower one another to face the trials ahead.

The results of the election are just a point on a long timeline of oppressive forces acting against people of color in the world. Women of color haven't stopped doing marvelous works in their communities and this is what I attempt to highlight in this podcast moving forward.
